Monday was comfortable day hanging out in and around Betty's Place. During our walk late morning, we saw what is a fairly common sight in the neighbourhood - a dog walker with several pooches, all existing in harmony.Ate a fabulous lunch at Jacques - 2 streets away. They have one menu item for the day - I tried it (variety of fish) and it was excellent. Christina had vegetarian options (Kish and soup) as well. The desserts were phenomenal. Pricey but well worth it for a good meal. Mr. Jacque speaks broken English, but came out to check on us and saw Mira. Then said, "I will make marriage cake for her, special" !! It made our day. Needless to say, they got a good tip.
BTW, for new couples - 10% is the usual tip in Colombia that is included in most restaurants. Feel free to leave more if you are pleased with the food and service. They all appreciate it.
